Open Studio SessionsDESCRIPTION
The purpose of the Open Studio Session is to develop a studio HABIT, committing to THE PROCESS of creating. There are many "how to" classes offered at arts organizations; however, the focus here is to provide a creative environment and a consistent schedule to nurture and explore the creative process in order to build studio stamina and develop your artistic voice. The sessions also offer an opportunity to converse with creative peers about all aspects of creating: work critiques, current art trends, art history, problem solving and general comradeship - all critical aspects for the evolving artist. HOW IT WORKS Beginning and advanced students will receive one-on-one individual attention and guidance, at a pace that is comfortable and natural to the student. During the initial class, the student should bring Peer Group Artists will work independently. Group critiques are optional. WHAT IS PROVIDED?
